What we are most useful for

• Corrections. If a specification is wrong, a source has moved, or a product has been discontinued, tell us. These get read first and fixed fastest, and material corrections get noted on the page with a date — see the editorial policy.
• “Which one for my yard?” Tell us what the yard looks like — trees, fences, whether you can put a pole in the ground — and we will point you at the right page rather than guess at a product.
• Reader reports. What actually happened when you tried something. If we publish it, it is attributed to you as a reader, never restated as our own testing.
• Questions the site does not answer. Gaps are useful; they become pages.

What we cannot help with

• Orders and returns. We are a publisher, not a retailer. Nothing is bought from us — every buy link goes to Amazon, and orders, delivery and returns are handled there.
• Injured or orphaned wildlife. Please contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator or your state wildlife agency. We are not qualified and would be guessing.
• Sponsored posts, paid placements and link exchanges. We do not accept them, so there is nothing to discuss. See the affiliate disclosure.
